- The winner of the Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency byelection, Jude Ngaji, of the All Progressives Congress in Cross River State has been issued the Certificate of Return by the Independent National Electoral Commission, The Certificate of Return was handed to Ngaji on Monday in Abuja by INEC National Commissioner for Information and Voter Education, Festus Okoye. While presenting the certificate, Okoye, said, “I hereby certify that Ngaji Jude Ogbeche of All Progressives Congress has been elected member of the House of Representatives for Ogoja/Yala Federal Constituency of Cross River State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria of the election held on the 26th day of February 2022, dated this 7th day of March 2022.”

Ngaji got 22,778 votes to defeat his closest opponent, Mr. Mike Usibe of the Peoples Democratic Party who got 20,590 votes.
