I watched Bill Gates’ March 25 2020 interview with Chris Anderson of TED yesterday where he predicted that millions of Africans will die this and winter. When he asked what can be done for poor countries like us, he parried the question a bit but rested on we should wait 18 months for vaccines. I saw in his eyes and demeanour that he is sick and tired of Africans, perhaps disappointed chiefly by Nigeria. Its now left to us to stand up for ourselves or die. Sitting at home is a silly approach. We need to be rebuilding and renovating primary health centres, we need to be stockpiling medicine for flu and pneumonia just in case the wave comes, we need to be standardizing whatever local remedies we have. we need to be working and not sleeping. we need a war room to respond, not be infected with our leaders total lack of energy. so that when its all over we can prove to the world that we are not worse than baboons.
Already the agenda has missed the mark elsewhere. aA simulation that they carried out in Nov 2019 on coronavirus epidemic. Yes coronavirus epidemic, championed by WEF, WHO, Bill Gates foundation, CDC and co opting private sector guys like Lufthansa, Marriott etc to see the effect on world economy if such a virus pandemic hit, predicted that 65m will die. Anyone who has 2 naira data on their phones could search for Event 201. It is no conspiracy theory.

The question is, will we sit by and die? will we die under our beds? or will we throw everything we have a it? for 45m of us to die then active cases in Nigeria will have to be 100,000,000 at some point. Don’t we have ancestors who survived all sorts till the white man? Are we totally and truly brainless? i suggest anyone who can find strength should infect the next person with the strength and ability to thing at this moment. At this rate depression will kill more, especially those whose businesses are careers are already ruined by this development.
I know the tendency is for Buhari to extend this two weeks lockdown because in 2 weeks Nigeria will have like 3,000 cases with a few more dead. More states will be on lockdown. But our lazy, low energy leaders have state resources which they have personalised, to keep feeding themselves. And we are already in a police state with overenthusiastic policemen and army guys beating people up everywhere and forcing them to stay at home in spite of heart and hunger. So in two weeks the rhetoric will be that ha! This thing is about to take off o! We cannot ask people to go back to work o etc. The mismanagement of this issue; the economic crisis precipitated by this wrong approach is our undoing.
Gates acknowledged as much in his interview. But as a billionaire he couldn’t careless . He spoke about how it is possible to get money back but not wake dead person. Logically and nice. But it is evident that someone is working to the answer here. You cannot perfectly predict CORONAVIRUS EPIDEMIC and in 3 months it has happened EXACTLY the way you want. The guy suffers OCD as far as i can see, and given his financial power, has set out to clean up world of dirt and weakings no matter whose ox is gored.
We too in africa have not done well. We have cried and written and quarrelled over this. Almost half my life i organised over the state of our human development. Perhaps 4 of my 6 self published books are dedicated to that. They seem like boring ideas but here we are. If i was an American or white i will not have respect for africans too. Especially Nigerian. 70 percent of our people live in abject filth worse than animals. Our government has no plan for them.We don’t even know that our strength lies in our people. We have refuse to invest on their productivity. Some still bread anyhow and throw children on the street to go fend for themselves. The conclusion of my president campaign is that we have one singular biggest problem -13million out of school children. It is a global and multigenerational embarrassment and crime against humanity. Our poor children all over Nigeria are grossly malnourished. But those in government prance around in the latest of inventions from serious countries when we produce absolutely NOTHING.
This is what pissd off Bill Gates. And he is right to be pissed. He summoned courage and spoke to the Buhari government about it. I’m sure that since then they have warned Dangote never to bring him back and given him the short and shrift. He could be hurt that he is so treated after he had invested in African health sector. Who knows? I also felt that at some point the people who run the world will be tired of the nonsense and the fact that we are creating a major crisis for the world with this mass of uneducated children when everyone else is training theirs. I never knew they will take a decision this quickly to try and end it all.
Now is the time for those who still have voices to speak up, appeal to Gates, energise our people, try to rescue what is of our economy, and ensure that we dont die in millions. Now is the time to assure the world that we can make something good of our population. Now is the time to change our wasteful ways and banish stupidity that rides on religion or culture.
We dont have to be called en masse like chicken infected with flu. We are human of worth. we can get through this valiantly. We need real leaders and warriors at this moment.
