Striker, Victor Osimhen, won’t be leaving Stade Pierre-Mauroy this summer despite interests from top European clubs this season, Lille president Gerard Lopez.
Liverpool, Real Madrid, Tottenham and Barcelona have all made contacts over the possible availability of the 21-year old, who has so far scored 18 goals this season.
The 21-year-old has been in impressive form ever since completing a €15m switch to Les Dogues from Belgian side, Sporting Charleroi, this season.
“Osimhen will be at Lille next season. Afterward, there are factors that I cannot control,” Lopez was quoted by RTL and Mercato.
“I do not control the fact that a club arrives and offers a salary six or eight times higher than what we can offer. But I think sometimes it’s better not to take a big salary and wait until next season.”
