The Al Nassr star, who returned to action after being sidelined by an injury for a month, starred in the Eagles’ AFCON 2021 campaign against Lesotho and Benin Republic respectively, helping the team secure victories against the two minnows and take charge of proceedings in Group L.
Musa is the first sporting personality to be made ambassador by the university based in Kano state.
And the former Leicester winger, reacted to the unveiling by reinforcing his commitment to education while also pledging to sponsor 100 students at the new tertiary institution.
“I am a great believer in the importance of education hence, my excitement in joining this great team to promote this vision of becoming anything you want to be in life as long as you can dream it.
He added, “So, I am pleased to let you know that I would be sponsoring 100 students at this university. Yes! 100. Details to follow shortly,” he wrote on Instagram.
