Igbinedion University, Okada, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Water Resource Institute, Kaduna, to promote staff and student exchange and collaborative research.
Speaking after signing the MoU, the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Lawrence Ezemonye, said the partnership would benefit both institutions in the area of knowledge sharing.
He said Igbinedion University had always championed access to quality education in the country while also maintaining its goal of being the centre for knowledge and excellence.
“Other areas of collaboration include, exchange of publications, reports and other academic/technical information, joint conferences, workshops, seminars and related activities, advocacy and public awareness campaign on water among others,” he said.
On his part, the institute’s Executive Director, Prof. Emmanuel Adanu, assured the institution of adequate collaboration in the area of capacity building and staff exchange.
