The Department of Mass Communication, Bayero University, Kano (BUK), has produced five PhD holders.
The Head of Department, Dr Haruna Isma’il said in a statement that three of the graduates who specialized in Political Communication include Umaru Jibrilu Gwandu, Maude Rabi’u Gwadabe and Muhammad Ibrahim Danja. Others are Amina Abana (Media and Conflict Studies) and Ashiru Tukur Inuwa (Film Studies)
