BREAKING: Sowore Defeats FG as Court Grants Him Bail
Insists He must deposit His International Passport
Supporters of the #REVOLUTIONNOW,and former presidential candidate of Africa Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore are jubilating as a Federal High court in Abuja has ordered His immediate release.
Mr Sowore who was arrested on the 3rd of August 2019 for planning a nationwide protest against the government has been ordered to deposit his international passport within 48 hours after his release and that his lawyer Femi Falana SAN produce him in court once he has been notified of the charges against him.
The Judge Taiwo Taiwo, says “the law provides for the freedom of all Nigerian citizens irrespective of economic or political class and this liberty is guaranteed by the constitution, It is for this end that i am of the view that the defendant ought to be released forthwith”
