Following a case instituted by the Edo State Assembly to counter the directive giving to the State Governor Godwin Obaseki by the National Assembly to issue a fresh proclamation of the state’s House of Assembly, Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the federal High Court in Abuja has today ordered the National Assembly to put a stop to their plans of taking control of Edo State Assembly.
Justice Taiwo order parties in the case to maintain status quo pending the determination of the case.
