- President Muhammadu Buhari has unbundled the Ministry of Power, Works and Housing, which was one until Wednesday when he separated Power from the trio, leaving the Works and Housing Ministry as an entity.

Fashola has been appointed as Works and Housing Minister; while Saleh Mamman,an Engineer, is Minister of Power.
Buhari also merged the ministries of Finance, Budget and National Planning; with Zainab Ahmed, who formerly headed the Finance Ministry, as the minister.
The Special Duties/International Affairs ministry was also created, with ex-Benue Governor-turned-Senator, George Akume, as the minister.
The President also created the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs/ Disaster Management & Social Development; as well as Ministry of Police Affairs, which was hitherto the Police Service Commission.
Sadiya Umar-Farouk is the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs/ Disaster Management & Social Development; while the Ministry of Police Affairs has Maigarai Dingyadi as the Minister.
