About 20 members of National Association of Persons with Physical Disability (NAPWPD), Yobe State chapter, would be sponsored by Governor Mai Mala Buni to further their education in Turkey.
Abba Isa, APC zonal special leader in Northeast and member of the Technical Committee for the Revitalization of Education in Yobe State, disclosed this to news men in Damaturu on Monday.
According to him, “The Executive Governor of Yobe State, Maimala Buni, has approved the selection of 20 persons with physical disability across the 17 local government areas of the state, who passed with five credits, including mathematics and English Language in their O’Level for immediate consideration for travel to Turkey to further their university studies under Yobe State undergraduate scholarship programme.”
