Nigerian midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has announced his exit from Danish club, Sonderjyke, three months after he joined on a free.
Onazi, who made this known via his Instagram Page on Tuesday, joined the club on a free after severing ties with Turkish club Denzilispor.
The 28-year-old made four appearances in all competitions for Sonderjyke totalling 162 minutes.
“Appreciation. It was a pleasure working very hard and intense for these three months to attain this level of fitness with you guys,” Onazi wrote on Instagram.
“Thank you for the love and support, I wish you guys all the best for the rest of the season.”
Onazi, who made his debut for Nigeria in 2012, has been capped 51 times.
He was a member of the Eagles squad that won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations title. He was also part of Nigeria’s squads to the 2014 and 2018 World Cups.
