Justice Anwuli Chikere who presided the court said, until the substantive suit before the court is determined, INEC must not go ahead with deregistering any political party.
33 parties including Abundant Nigeria Renewal party, Progressive People Alliance, Young Democratic party sued INEC.
Recall that INEC recently deregistered 74 political parties leaving only 18 in Nigeria.
